May 28, 2011 - We spent the day up at the cabin with the entire Collard side of the family. Of course the trip is never complete without a bubble bath. On a side note, we left the cabin around 8 pm and found ourselves 45 minutes later in the middle of a blizzard....crazy! Siri loves to snuggle with Daddy.

May 27, 2011 - Siri's first taste of rice cereal
May 27, 2011 - After the birthday festivities for Austin, Siri had her first go at cereal and loved it! In fact, she got upset when I wasn't getting it in fast enough. WARNING: The end of the post contains some super gross pictures...the aftermath of a baby's first experiences with rice cereal. You've been warned.
I know that I am not an expert in the world of mothering, but I have gained some experience in my 5+ years of motherhood and 3 daughters. I haven't seen it all, but I have seen some. I have changed more diapers than I can count...no big deal. I have seen, what I thought at the time, some fairly substantial explosions. I don't mean to be crass, but we experienced an explosion like I've never seen....ever! Apparently the rice cereal was a real "wake-up" for Siri's digestive system. I had just put her in the play station (exer-saucer) and Anistion came to me literally a minute later and said that Siri had an explosion. Yep! She sure did! I know it's super gross...but how does this happen? Needless to say, rice cereal was a success! (May 30, 2011)
May 25, 2011 - Our last day on Kuaui
May 25, 2011 -Over the past two months Austin, Siri, and I have visited the Hawaiian islands twice thanks to US Bank and Austin working so hard to earn these trips. I know, it seems a little excessive (going to Hawaii twice in two months), but who is going to turn down a free trip? Not I. Our trip to Maui was for the US Bank annual Pinacle award and Kuaui was a 4th quarter contest. The world of "banking" comes so natural to Austin and he has been successful in his efforts. I feel so blessed to be married to this amazing person. Not because he sends us to tropical locales, but because he truly does work so hard to provide for our family....these trips are just a lovely bonus!
On our last day we decided to take a helicopter ride around the island. The sights were breathtaking and truly left us speechless.

Siri had a good time on her first swim ever. She wasn't thrilled, however, that she looked a little like a boy. Blue shirt and pink hat....it doesn't matter, she's still super cute!
