December 22, 2009 - Collard Family Talent Show

Kurego Sorentini's book, "A guide to hand-holding" was a major hit. Todd and Logan were are hand models performing the steps laid out in the book.
Our family did "The Tylar Shuffle". Our little Tylar has some serious dance moves!

Uncle Ryan, Todd, and Logan performed an ode to Tim's ballet last year.
Alli and Aniston are great friends!

December 21, 2009

Grandma Eileen, Brooke, Alli, and Grandma Annie all came to Aniston's last dance class of 2009. The girls showed their "moves"....."shuffle, shuffle", faaa-lap (kick the bug, squash the bug), shuffle hop step, and many more. Well, I wouldn't necessarily say "many" more, but more. My favorite, favorite part of her dance class is when they dance "freestyle" and freeze when the music stops. It is hilarious to watch...Aniston truly has a gift to "feel" the music. Her teacher Brianne tried to teach a quick routine to "Santa Claus is coming to town" and Aniston wasn't into it at all. Even when Alli joined in, Aniston said that that kind of dancing (the choreographed kind) is boring. I can't wait to see what happens at the recital :) Eating is always a chore at our house. There is a reason our girls are so small....they just don't like to eat. When Tylar prefers feeding herself, we just let her at it! Below, she would take a bite of yogurt and then put a spoonful on her arm and rub it in like lotion. I honestly don't care, as long as she is getting some in her mouth. Plus, she was having fun and it was hilarious to watch her meticulously rub in her "lotion".

Aniston just being silly!

December 17, 2009 - "I" is for icicles, sparkling all day"!

December 17, 2009 - Aniston's Preschool Christmas program was FANTASTIC! We had been practing her part all month, ("I" is for icicles, sparkling all day!) and she did a wonderful job. The kids also performed a medely of Christmas songs. Aniston's favorite part of the whole thing was when she got to play the jingle bells. Thanks Grandma Eileen and Daddy for coming too!

Tylar had a great time dancing to the music!
Tylar is growing up way too fast...sniff.
The girls love riding in the new "airplane".....see how happy she is?

December 10, 2009 - "I miss Allie [and Kennedy] so much!"

Well, it seems as though our camera may have taken its last breath....."sigh". Instead of adding current photos (which I couldn't do anyway because the camera is broken), I thought I would send a special "We miss you!" to Tim, Brooke, Allie, and Kennedy. Randomly, every couple of days, Aniston will say, "I miss Allie so much!" I know Peru is far, far away, but we are so excited for them to make the trip home for Christmas.

We are so blessed to have all of these beautiful girls so close together!
Kennedy and Tylar are only three days apart....I'm sure they will be best buds as the get older!

November 14, 2009 - Disney Princesses on Ice

November 14, 2009 - A HUGE THANKS to the amazing Aunt Dani for making this possible! Although the pictures wouldn't indicate that the girls loved it....they did!

Each year, since Aniston was born, we have bought an ornament for the girls. This year Aniston was old enough to really choose what she wanted, and guess what it was? Yep, Cinderella in her coach. Unfortunately, the Cinderella ornament didn't even make it to the tree in one piece. Tylar made sure that it was good and "loved" before we hung it up. As of right now, the coach only has two wheels...but the other two will be super-glued on in the near future.
Although you wouldn't guess, these are the faces of two little girls who are enjoying themselves immensely!

October 31, 2009 - Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2009 - Happy Halloween......love, Unicorn and Baby Chick! Tylar quickly figured out trick-or-treating and LOVED it!
"Perhaps people will come to the door and give me candy if I sit here with my bucket."

Grandma Eileen and Grandpa Craig came for our annual Halloween festivities...dinner then trick-or-treating. Grandpa even came as "Kung-Fu Panda"....at least that is what Aniston thought he was.
Our traditional Halloween dinner....chili, cornbread, and witches brew.
The girls were a little scared of the witches brew....but Daddy LOVES it!

Enjoying some Halloween cupcakes!
