August 12, 2011 - A day at the fair

August 12, 2011 - We were so happy to be at the fair with Grandma and Grandpa! While Austin was in St. George with his dad and brothers for their annual golf trip, the girls and I spent time at the county fair with Grandma and Grandpa.

The petting zoo didn't disappoint...although it was a little too up close for our girls.

Tylar was pretty brave with the animals....

A tortoise. This is the kind of petting zoo action we enjoy! Not to worry...Grandpa Craig was there to protect his girls!

Grandma Eileen and Grandpa Craig bought tickets so the girls could go on rides. First, Grandma Eileen and I took the girls on the ferris wheel. Next was the motorcycles. They ended on the spinning strawberries with Grandma Eileen and had a blast! It was so fun to hear them laugh and laugh as Grandma spun the giant strawberry!

Although carnival rides are not the cheapest to go on, they certainly didn't skip on the time you got to ride. The girls went around and around and around and around.....I was wondering if they were ever going to stop. They loved it!

August 1, 2011 - Training wheels....

August 1, 2011 - Here is Aniston's first go at no training wheels. She wasn't thrilled about it, but we'll keep trying.

With the training wheels back on, Tylar gave it a go. We need to work on steering...yikes.

...and this is how I look most days :).

July 30, 2011 - We made it up to Logan for the SorensEn family reunion. After the reunion we stopped by and visited with Great Grandma and Grandpa SorensOn. The day before Grandpa had surgery on his eye to remove cancer. We were grateful he was feeling well enough for some crazy visitors.

July 23, 2011 - St. George

July 23, 2011 - We decided to take a last minute trip to St. George and had a great time. Nothing beats swimming! Siri loved the water

Happy 4th of July! We spent the night up at the cabin and ended the festivities at the Sorensen's for a BBQ and fireworks. I was up with my mom and cousin Steph until 2 am at the cabin chasing out a bat. After awhile, Austin decided to join the fun too. Three swings with his broom...and out went Mr. Bat. The children, however, were unaware of how late I got to bed and were up by 7am. Additionally, I was up a couple of times with Siri. As a result of all this I was BEYOND tired by the end of the night, but we had a great time!
