October 12, 2009 - Day at Sea

October 12, 2009 - We started our second full day at sea with a breakfast with all the Disney characters. From afar, Tylar thinks that they are great, but as soon as they get too close...

As you can see, Tylar LOVED having Mickey right next too her. Aniston, however, was excited and shy at the same time.
Daddy really does look like Goofy
Chip (or Dale, I don't know which) was "talking" to Aniston, telling her that he remembered that she had done the YMCA with him the day before.

As you can see, Tylar can't wait to give Mickey a hug!

There are specific times on the ship when you can go out and meet the characters. This afternoon the Princesses were going to be out to take pictures and, seeing as though we had talked about seeing the princess with great excitement for months, when it came right down to it, Aniston wanted to stay with her cousin Ethan and watch "Bugs Life" rather than see these ladies. I "knew" that Aniston would be disappointed if she missed out on seeing them, so I took our most unwilling three year-old down for a chance to meet the Disney Princesses. Once we got there, Aniston was insistent that she liked to look atthem, but NOT stand by them. Fine...we left our place in line (which was very long and I really didn't mind not waiting a good 30 minutes for a couple of pictures) and I placed Aniston in the same shot has each princess for our memories and I asked her to smile. This is what I got.....
Aniston was THRILLED to see Belle!

She was OVERJOYED to see Cinderlla!

And she could BARELY contain her excitement at the sight of Snow White!

After the princess fiasco, we spent the next couple of hours swimming and LOVED it! Honestly! If your child was still in a swim diaper, they weren't allowed in any of the pools. That was definately not aproblem for Tylar. It took her some time to warm up to the splash pad, but after awhile, she quite enjoyed it.
Tylar absolutely LOVE-LOVE-LOVES her aunt Lisa!!!
Playing in the Mickey pool. Even though there were a million kids crammed into this pool, it was really, really fun!

Each night we watched a Broadway style show. This particular evening, we ran into Daisy Duck on our way back to bed. (For the life of me, I could not get these pictures to rotate.)
