Happy Wedding Cade and Lisa! - August 14, 2009

We had a wonderful day with the family as we celebrated Cade and Lisa's wedding. The sealing was at 12:00 pm, so we were supposed to be there at 11:30 am. We pulled into the parking garage just after 11:30 am...no problem. After about 10 minutes of looking for a spot in a very full parking garage, Austin dropped me and the girls off and he continued to look for a spot. I made it over to the temple and after waiting for a couple minutes, at 11:54am, I decided that I should go on down. Everyone had already left the waiting room, so I went up to the sealing room by myself. As I walked in all the seats were full, so I sat next to Annie. Waiting, waiting, waiting...Austin finally made it in and he didn't even look like he had broken a sweat. It all worked out. A minute or two after Austin came in, Cade and Lisa arrived and it was a beautiful ceremony. A quick quote that the sealer shared that he had heard from President Hinckley was that we should "be actively engaged in the well-being and comfort of our spouse." I loved that! Anyhow, it was a lovely day!

August 14, 2009 - Happy Reception at Cactus and Tropicals

I had never been to Cactus and Tropicals, but it was a beautiful location for a reception. It was a pretty busy day, but it all worked out and the kids did great!
I love Tylar's smile....this is her "smiling" on purpose.
Aniston and Tylar didn't stay too long at the reception thanks to Grandma Eileen and Grandpa Craig. At first I felt bad, but after Aniston got her very own candy bag and was ready to leave I asked, "Did you have fun at the party?" She answered in the affirmative, so all was well.

Before they left, Tylar fell IN LOVE with a couple of the dog statues. Without being promted, or encouraged for that matter, she ran up to the dog and REPEATEDLY gave it kiss after kiss after kiss....

There was another little dog statue behind the doors. Fortunately she was able to send her love through the glass.

In addition to the dog statues, there were also several water fountains. Aniston, being the kind-hearted, lover of nature, that she is, kindly took the time to water the surrounding flowers. Mother nature thanks you!
Grandma Eileen gave Aniston a couple of pointers of how best to keep the water in your hands.

August 10, 13, 14, 2009

August 14, 2009 - It was a little/lot scary using a curling iron on a 15 month old child's hair, but I think the danger paid off. Both girls look adorable! When we ask Tylar to smile, this is what we get....
I was quite please with Tylar's crazy hair.
August 13, 2009 - Trying on our dresses for the wedding.August 10, 2009 - Perhaps I should care more that she is coloring on herself, but I figure that she is just being artistic...plus it's washable, no harm done.
