St. George - February 20/21, 2009

February 20/21, 2009 - The Sorensen crew headed down to St. George for the weekend and had a great time. Of course, we went swimming...wahoo!

This was Tylar's first experience swimming and I think she rather enjoyed it.
On Saturday we went to the Washington City Rec Center and had a great time! They have a leisure pool for kids and it was awesome. Although it is geared toward kids, we all had a really fun time! Look at my cute Austin!

Daddy and Aniston went down the super big twisty slide. I was quite surprised that she wanted to do it, but I was so proud. You have to climb several flights of stairs to get to the top...seriously, it was a lot of fun!
Uncle Jeremy, Aniston and Ethan had a great time playing with the little ponnies we brought with us.
Aunt Kylee did pretty well holding her own against her big brothers.

Although we had a fun time in St. George, towards the end both of our little ones started to get sick. They both had fevers...Tylar was having a hard time breathing and Aniston was throwing up. At least we got swimming in before the yuck hit. Poor little things.

Watch her go.....February 15/16, 2009

Tylar is quite the mover these days. She is getting quicker with her quirky crawl (She tucks her left leg up as she crawls to enable her to sit up or turn on a dime. As a result, the top of her left foot and her left leg is red most of the time.) She is also working on her walking...she loves being mobile. She loves to eat ANYTHING that is on the floor and being able to move on her own has opened up a whole new world of things that she can "eat." My favorite line from Aniston is, "Tylar, we don't eat garbage."

February 19, 2009 - We only had two for Joy School this particular day, which is too bad because it was "Magic Day." In the lesson it suggested that I put on a special hat and cape to make the magic tricks more "exciting." All I can say is that, I was amazed with the magic I was able to perform. I not only made a penny disappear and reappear, but I also made an egg stand up, as well as putting a pin in a balloon without making it pop! Amazing!

Can + Racoon = CANCUN - February 13, 2009

Austin SURPRISED me with this crazy gift. He gave me beautiful flowers (which I always love) and a can with a racoon inside. At first I thought, "hmmm, thanks." I looked at Austin and he told me to think about it. Racoon, can...can, racoon...CANCUN!!!! "Are you serious?!?!?" Yep, Austin earned a trip through work to Cancun and it looks like we will be heading down in May. I am always so proud of my Aussie and the wonderful job he does! We will have to leave our little bugs for a couple of days, but I think we will all survive.
Aniston and Mr. Brownie have become dear friends.

Pink Bear has learned quickly that we share at our house. Doesn't Aniston look beautiful!
This is one of my favorite faces that Tylar does...

Happy Birthday Aniston...3 years old! February 12, 2009

February 12, 2009 - We can't believe that our little Aniston is already three years-old...crazy! She is such a blessing to all of us! On this very special day, we celebrated with a "My little Pony" themed birthday party. A couple weeks before her birthday we went to the party store to pick out all the decorations and I had to remind her everyday from that point until her birthday that we had to wait before we decorate the house.

Aniston was a huge help with this "snazy" birthday cake. As you can see, the cake is of "Ponyville," where Rainbow Dash, Pinky Pie, and Sweetie Belle live with all their other pony friends.

Delicious!

Seeing as though it was a "My little Pony" birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson thought it fitting to bring an Aniston life-size pony as a present. She LOVED it! Mr. Brownie was a HUGE hit and it was almost impossible to wipe the smile off her face.

If you're hungry, Aniston and Dora can whip up an egg, rice or an empanada...just like that!
Our little Tylar bug and her blue-blue eyes!

I know her hair is a little wild, but she hates bows and I like the crazy look!

Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunt's, Uncle's, and Cousins joined us for our pony extravaganza...thanks everybody! We even got to meet Uncle Cade's Lisa for the first time.

Say hello to Pink Bear - February 11, 2009

February 11, 2009 - Grandma Annie took Aniston to Build-A-Bear for her birthday and she had an amazing time. As you can see, all of the selections were made by Aniston herself. It was so much fun to see all the fun animals with Grandma and Aunt Kylee....thank you!
Tylar has the craziest hair....I love it!

February 7, 2009 - Playing in the crib

The girls are usually great when they are playing together in Tylar's crib. This morning was one of those days. As you can see in the picture below, both Aniston and Tylar thought it was hilarious when Aniston would fall flat on her face. She did this over, and over, and over....
Our little Tylar's personality is coming out more and more every day.
