May 20, 2009 - Happy 1st Birthday Tylar Grace!

May 20, 2009 - Happy Birthday to our little Tylar Gracie! How/when did this happen?!? Our sweet Tylar brings us so much joy and laughter. She has the sweetest personality and is just adorable from head to toe! From her crazy hair, to her adult-sized teeth, to her scrunch nose face, we just can't get enough of her! She is loved by all, especially her mommy, daddy, and favorite sister!

This awesome tent/tunnel/ball throwing "thing" was enjoyed by all....more so by the grown-up boys, but the kids enjoyed it too!

Although I have only slept through the night once in over a year (literally) I wouldn't trade it for anything! If you have to get up and hang out with someone, who better than our adorable Tylar!
Grandpa Craig helped to "break-in" several of the new toys.

I had to wake Tylar up right as the party was starting. She was a bit somber for awhile, hence the somber look.

As we were looking for a gift for Tylar, Aniston said, "Tylar likes ponnies..Tylar likes pollies...." Yes, I know that Tylar likes all the things that Aniston likes. Amazing. Fortunately for Aniston, I mean Tylar, Uncle Cade and Aunt Lisa came through on the pony.

The theme for Tylar's party was inspired by Oscar the Grouch. Not because Tylar is grouchy, because truly she is not. She does, however, like to eat garbage. Oscar likes to eat garbage too...wallah! After blowing out the candle, I didn't even have Tylar eat any because it was close to bedtime...I know, lame! She didn't care. In fact, I am sure she was grateful to not have a tummy full of sugar before bed...right?
Tylar had plenty of help with her gifts...thanks again everyone!

Oscar the Grouch in all his glory. I am not going to lie, I was quite pleased with the way our little cake turned out. Aniston was very helpful cleaning up the unused frosting.
Aniston was excited ALL DAY for Tylar's birthday. Throughout the day she would remind Tylar that it was her birthday. If Tylar started to fuss, Aniston would say, "Don't be sad Tylar, it's your birthday." "Tylar, it's your birthday!" "Happy Birthday Tylar!" "Tylar, you have an Oscar the Grouch cake...see." Amidst all the celebrating, Aniston paused for a moment and asked me to take her picture...there you go.

May 10/16, 2009

May 16, 2009 - After our family water fight (which Aniston LOVED) we decided to head up to the mountains. We wanted to go up to Donut Falls, but there was too much snow. Instead, we stopped by Moss Ledge/Falls (I don't know what it is called) to become one with nature. The girls LOVED being "in the mountains" so much that Tylar threw quite the fit when it was time to go.

May 10, 2009 - Look at these cute girls playing in the box...again

May 8/9, 2009 - A visit to Logan AND she's walking!

We had a quick trip up to Logan to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson. Of course, we had to go sample some aggie ice cream.
Yumm!
Grandma Lois has perfect sized chairs for our little ones. Tylar loved being a "big girl" as she got on and sat all by herself. Although Tylar has been taking steps for awhile now and has been cruising along all the furniture, I would say that she "officially" started walking when we got up to Logan. I guess "official" to me is more than 7 or 8 steps. As soon as we got to Grandma's, she simply took off.

April 30, 2009 - Aniston loves to try new tricks with Brownie. Whenever we are playing upstairs, inevitably I will hear, "Mommy, look at me...look at what I can do." More often than not she is trying something that makes mommy more than a little nervous. In this picture, however, she is perfectly safe!

April 25/30, 2009 - Look at that messy Tylar!

Tylar is turning into a pretty good eater...as long as she gets to do it herself!

April 24, 2009 - Aniston and Grandpa Craig, "Best Buds!"

While exploring in the backyard, Aniston and Grandpa Craig found a worm...awesome!

April 23, 2009 - Tulip Festival

This was our third or fourth annual visit to the tulip festival with grandma Eileen. The flowers were in full bloom and the weather was perfect!

This is my favorite "Tylar scrunch face."Grandma Eileen and Aniston played "chase" on the giant hill.
Me and Tylar hung out while grandma chased Aniston down.

Our little Tylar is growing up...sniff

Grandma LOVES being with her grandbabies!!

Although this isn't the most flattering picture of Tylar, it is a great view of her GIANT front teeth. In fact, when I took her into her 12 month appointment the doctor was shocked to see her teeth. As she looked in Tylar's mouth she said, "Wow! I wasn't expecting to see those! They really are big!"
